The idea for this project was inspired by the tragic incident in 2014, where overcrowding led to the loss of over 2,000 lives during Hajj. Our solution integrates artificial intelligence with drone technology to ensure crowd safety. The drone system🚀: • Monitors pilgrims in real-time using AI-powered detection and tracking. • Counts individuals to prevent dangerous overcrowding. • Sends an alert to security personnel when thresholds are reached, enabling timely intervention.

Built with AI is a global initiative empowering developers worldwide to dive into Google's cutting-edge AI and ML technologies. A new tech academy in Saudi is helping to train the next generation of App Developers!! Apple Developer Academy to open in Riyadh this autumn. This will be the 1st such academy in the ME and NA. It will also be an all-female academy. Hope is for Saudi to become a hub for AI research, development and entrepreneurship. A secondary goal is from this academy to start producing local Arabic Apps. What are the startups emerging from the mysterious and revolutionary NEOM project? Thanks to TONOMUS and Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Saudi Arabia, the first demo day for VCs was organized. Tonomus, led by Elaine Weidman-Grunewald, has identified several of the world's biggest problems they aim to solve through their internal venture builder. Their interests covers sustainability, future food systems, responsible AI, PropTech, and practical metaverse usage. Together with Aslan Sultanov, I found all the projects to be well-developed by experienced teams, experts in their fields, and multiple entrepreneurs. I believe TONOMUS can benefit more by sharing more specific unresolved problems to the public, inviting VCs and startups to collaborate.
